- I posted this a while back, but then the lightning came, so I
- doubt that this ever made it out.
-
- I'm running on a VAXstation 4000, VMS 5.5, Motif 1.0A.
- Apparently there is a bug (or should I say incompatibility) from
- when DEC made X run on the new 4000.
-
- I have a background program running (background meaning in the
- root window). OK--it's a bunch of fishies. Whenever I move or
- resize a window, the root window gets scrambled up with my other
- windows. Not being X-literate, is there a way I could add something
- to the (C) program to skip re-drawing while any window is being
- moved/resized? From what little I know, I would guess to look
- for some event happening, but not knowing X, I don't know what
- or how to cover an event happening in any window.
-
- Thanks for any/all/some/no help.
