  14.     I am posting this once again because I think I have a minor
  15. problem and someone must be knowing the answer!
  16.     I compiled and installed X11R5 here. I had set the  Project
  17. Root  to some non-default location. Now while testing almost all
  18. utilities(xload, xgas, bitmap etc..) works fine but when I try to
  19. start xinit, it can not find the fonts in the new locations and so 
  20. gives the following error :

  22. Warning: Cannot convert string "helvB14" to type FontStruct
  23. xterm: unable to open font "courR14" trying "fixed"....
  24.  
  25.     When I run 'xset q' command, it says that the font path is
  26. /usr/lib....   So it is not looking in the new font directory.  Well,
  27. I think it is not locating the new lib directory at all. Presently 
  28. links in /usr/lib points to X11R4 library. How can I fix my problem
  29. without replacing these links? On worse case, replacing the links is
  30. the only solution? And on the worst case, replacing the links will
  31. solve the problem at all?
