  12.         This is a question that perhaps will only reveal the level of
  13. my ignorance: why can one use only fixed fonts in xterm? What are the
  14. extra problems involved in arranging things so variable character width
  15. fonts can be used? I mean, in such a way that the output looks nice on
  16. the screen.
