- I'd like to use xcalc without touching the mouse at all - only the keyboard.
- Seems that it should be simple, but I haven't been able to do it. Here's how
- I do it now:
-
- 1. type "xcalc"
- 2. the xcalc window shows on the screen.
- I don't need the mouse to position it because I have "RandomPlacement" on
- in my ~/.twmrc file.
- (Yes, by the way, I am using twm - because it doesn't use much memory
- and it is simple and works better than uwm)
- 3. Move the mouse so the cursor is in the xcalc window
- 4. type my commands to xcalc
- 5. ^C when I am done.
-
- I want to eliminate step 3. Is there a simple way to do this?
- In general, the xcalc window pops up in a place where my mouse is not.

- Thank you. Please reply to ben@oskgate0.mei.co.jp
