  13. I'm using an application that creates an X window but doen't recognize
  14. -geometry.  I want to able to specify a location for the window (i can
  15. control size through the application) but i'm at a loss as to how to go 
  16. about this.

  18. One idea is that i could force the window to move when it comes up but 
  19. i don't know how to get the information i need about the window in order
  20. to do this.  I'm wondering if there is a way to get a window id from the
  21. application's process id.
