- I'm using an application that creates an X window but doen't recognize
- -geometry. I want to able to specify a location for the window (i can
- control size through the application) but i'm at a loss as to how to go
- about this.
-
- One idea is that i could force the window to move when it comes up but
- i don't know how to get the information i need about the window in order
- to do this. I'm wondering if there is a way to get a window id from the
- application's process id.
-
- Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
