- Hi,
-
- I would like to set up the "filemgr" program for some novice users on
- my system. Specifically, I would like them to be able to start
- applications by double-clicking on the icon for the file or directory.
-
- This is very straightforward if you want to run an application on a
- certain kind of file (basically, you set up a new entry in "binder"
- application). However, what if you want to start an application on a
- directory instead of a file? It seems that directories in the filemgr
- are stuck with the "folder.icon" symbol. How can I change the icon
- symbol on a certain directory, and also run an application on that
- directory?
-
- Is anybody out there doing anything similar to this?
