  14. I would like to set up the "filemgr" program for some novice users on
  15. my system.  Specifically, I would like them to be able to start
  16. applications by double-clicking on the icon for the file or directory.

  18. This is very straightforward if you want to run an application on a
  19. certain kind of file (basically, you set up a new entry in "binder"
  20. application).  However, what if you want to start an application on a
  21. directory instead of a file?  It seems that directories in the filemgr
  22. are stuck with the "folder.icon" symbol.  How can I change the icon
  23. symbol on a certain directory, and also run an application on that
  24. directory?

  26. Is anybody out there doing anything similar to this?
