- We just loaded Sun's OW3 PEX extension, and the first clients we tested
- where the X11R5 demos beach_ball and auto_box.
-
- beach_ball did run, although the ball was colored in various
- combinations of orange and black. When we run the same client on the
- Mit server, it looks like a beachball.
-
- auto_box just crashes the OW3 server, though the same binary runs
- correctly on the R5 server.
-
- I was also a bit surprised that Sun's PEX didn't noticeably outperform
- the MIT server, even on a GX. I would have thought it would have been
- optimized enough to see a difference.
-
- Is this consistant with others experience?
-
- By the way, are there some other PEX demo clients around?
