  16. Alright, maybe I should have gotten Borland C++, but I have been
  17. an MSC user since 4.1 days. Now to the problem.

  19. I finally installed 7.0 (what a disk hog).
  20. I try and run PWB under windows.
  21. Blam! My screen goes into what appears to be 40 column CGA type
  22. resolution. I exit PWB. My windows session has funny lines 
  23. throughout.

  25. I exit windows. Get back in. Start a DOS session. Start PWB.
  26. Amazing. Here it works. What gives ?

  28. The PIF entries look very similar. (Screen stuff is same... don't
  29. remember specifics right now)

  31. MSC uses -1 entries for XMS... DOS pif has 0 0. Could this be it.
  32. I'll have to experiment some more.

  34. Can some one out in netland give me a clue. Or ....
  35. GAG! Do I have to call Microsoft to get an answer. They have never
  36. been very helpful with past problems. (Neither has Borland with
  37. Turbo Pascal problems I've had)
