  14. I am a blind programmer and rely on screen reader software to
  15. produce speech output from a speech synthesizer that is attached
  16. to my workstation. Does anyone know of any screen reader software
  17. that will work under X windows (or any other Graphics User Interface)?
  18. Ideally I would like source code for such a reader that is designed
  19. to work on a Sun/4, but an executable that works on an IBM AT running
  20. DESQVIEW/X under MS-DOS would be good as well. If you have any
