  12. Well, folks told me that I should wait until the msdos windows groups had
  13. a chance to propagate before bringing this up again.  I think that the
  14. name 'comp.windows.misc' is too general, leading novice folks , who perhaps
  15. haven't noticed the fact that this group almost resents msdos discussions,
  16. to post here.

  18. It is time for the bi-monthly discussion on renaming this group.
  19. Personally, I am in favor of the name:

  23. Some folk will complain that the name is too long .  If that is the case,
  24. is there a character that is prohibited from being in an MS-DOS file name -
  25. I would like to propose we use that character in the name and that way those
  26. folks can't even get into this group! (that last one's a JOKE if you missed
  27. it...)
