  20.   I see this with news, too. I put a filter on my incoming mail to drop
  21. these in the bit bucket and just mail me a daily summary of who sent
  22. them and how many total.

  24.   It may be due to those programs terminating in some way other than a
  25. nice call to exit() with a value of zero. The wait() call returns some
  26. funny status, and if there were a value non-zero but with low 8 bit ==
  27. 0, you might see something funny. I haven't chased it, I just wanted it
  28. to go away.
