- I see this with news, too. I put a filter on my incoming mail to drop
- these in the bit bucket and just mail me a daily summary of who sent
- them and how many total.

- It may be due to those programs terminating in some way other than a
- nice call to exit() with a value of zero. The wait() call returns some
- funny status, and if there were a value non-zero but with low 8 bit ==
- 0, you might see something funny. I haven't chased it, I just wanted it
- to go away.
