- This is so wierd! Going on from my problem posted yesterday and from
- a little prodding from Chip (thanks!!) I had another look and all the
- UFN files didn't have their magic number set for some reason, so
- Xenix didn't know what type they were... So I went and re-installed
- the UFN. Same problem :( Then I went back to the xnx file and untarred
- that (but not onto disk) and checked those files, they were fine, so
- I copied them to where they should go, but ahah! That's the problem they
- lost the magic number using cp, BUT when I mv'd them (move) they were
- ok...
-
- now my kernel links, which is what matters, but that is pretty
- wierd.. anyone come accross this kind of thing before?
