  10. This is so wierd! Going on from my problem posted yesterday and from
  11. a little prodding from Chip (thanks!!) I had another look and all the
  12. UFN files didn't have their magic number set for some reason, so
  13. Xenix didn't know what type they were... So I went and re-installed
  14. the UFN. Same problem :( Then I went back to the xnx file and untarred
  15. that (but not onto disk) and checked those files, they were fine, so
  16. I copied them to where they should go, but ahah! That's the problem they
  17. lost the magic number using cp, BUT when I mv'd them (move) they were
  18. ok...

  20. now my kernel links, which is what matters, but that is pretty
  21. wierd.. anyone come accross this kind of thing before?
