  12. I installed UFN (xnx296a) on my 2.3.2 system, all goes ok until I try
  13. to link the new kernel and I get stuff like:

  15. kid.o : fatal error: invalid object module
  16.  pos: 1 Record type 1f
  17.  
  18. Is this a problem with the linker or the object modules? I've tried
  19. re-copying the file from the UFN tar file (ie: straight from uunet)
  20. but to no avail...

  22. Could it be the linker?
