  13. Thanks to all those who responded to my posts about uucp.  That's working
  14. fine now.  It's really amazing what you find out when you ask a single
  15. question.

  17. Now for the next one...
  18. I'm able to communicate on Zoom modems at 2400 baud, but I'd like to use
  19. them at 9600 baud of course.  I've downloaded the SLS named "unx220" from
  20. SCO's BBS, but it just doesn't seem to work.  This file (unx220) is supposed
  21. to be an updated dialer for HA96V.  Since Zoom is "100% compatible" with 
  22. Hayes V modems, it should work.

  24. I've done the obvious--edited the Dialers file, the Systems file, and even
  25. the /etc/ttys file--but I continue to get EXECDIAL LOCAL FAILURE errors. 
  26. When I give up and switch back to a 2400 bps configuration, all goes well.
  27. Any suggestions???
