- Thanks to all those who responded to my posts about uucp. That's working
- fine now. It's really amazing what you find out when you ask a single
- question.
-
- Now for the next one...
- I'm able to communicate on Zoom modems at 2400 baud, but I'd like to use
- them at 9600 baud of course. I've downloaded the SLS named "unx220" from
- SCO's BBS, but it just doesn't seem to work. This file (unx220) is supposed
- to be an updated dialer for HA96V. Since Zoom is "100% compatible" with
- Hayes V modems, it should work.
-
- I've done the obvious--edited the Dialers file, the Systems file, and even
- the /etc/ttys file--but I continue to get EXECDIAL LOCAL FAILURE errors.
- When I give up and switch back to a 2400 bps configuration, all goes well.
- Any suggestions???
-
- Thanks again,
- John
