- I am running long CPU intensive programs on a system that
- must be shut down every evening. Is there a simple way (without
- adding to the existing code) to check-point these runs before
- shutdown and re-start them when the system is back up. I have a
- need to do this under SunOS 4.1.1 and HP/UX. I am aware of the
- Condor project, but this seems to be much too complicated for
- what I want to do.
