  12. Just a few questions regarding Ultrix 4.3:

  14. 1.  When is it due?  I heard Fall '92 -- North American Fall?  :-)
  15. 2.  What version of X11/Motif? will be shipped?  Someone PLEASE say X11R5!
  16. 3.  Is there any work planned on DEC's GUI sysadmin tool, SCAMP?
  17. 4.  Any major changes from Ultrix 4.2C?  (Vixie cron!  BIND 4.9?)
  18. 5.  How long does anyone expect Ultrix 4.3 to be around?  Should I be
  19.     expecting an Ultrix 4.3[A-Z] scenario, followed by 4.3-Ken?
  20. 6.  What is the migration strategy like for someone who wants to
  21.     perform a gradual upgrade to OSF/1 on the Alpha?  From what I
  22.     gather, the Alpha implementation of OSF/1 will be shipping before
  23.     the MIPS version?  Simultaneous OS/hardware migration is "bad".
  24. 7.  Will there be different versions of the OS for the various
  25.     architectures (R3000, R4000, VAX)?
  26. 8.  Is it being beta-tested at this time?
  27. 9.  Are there any plans to ship an ANSI C compiler?
