- The R4000 upgrades for the DECstation products are not available yet. As an
- intermediate step, you might want to consider moving your current DS5000/200
- series machines to a DS5000/240 series machine. This will take you from a 25MHz
- R3000 to a 40MHz R3000 processor and give you a substantial boost in your per-
- formance.

- The DS5000/240 also utilizes a processor daughter card configuration (while
- the DS5000/200 has the processor embedded in the system module). This means
- that you can upgrade to the R4000 processor, when available, by means of a
- processor daughter card swap.
