  12. Sorry if this is trivial, but I don't seem to be able to find an answer
  13. myself.

  15. After migrating to 4.2a from 4.1, asynchronous mail notification (ala
  16. biff) stopped working. "biff y" seems to do what it's supposed to
  17. (adds x permission to the device) but that has no apparent effect:
  18. nothing appears on the terminal when mail comes in.
