- Greetings:
-
- I would like to set up my fstab so that the bookreader CD is mounted on
- startup. How do I do this such that dump and fsck do not touch the drive?
-
- I tried the following:
-
- /dev/rz4c:/usr/lib/dxbook:ro:0:0:ufs::
-
- But my weekly fsck still checked the drive even though the man page says:
-
- " A pass number of 0 in /etc/fstab causes a disk to not be checked."
-
- I was also wondering how to stop dump from touching this drive. An extra
- 300 MB is making my DAT drive almost full.
-
-
- Sorry if this is a simple one, but any advice would be appreciated
-
- Richard
