  12. I'm experiencing very strange behavior with NFS :-
  13.  
  14. Machine:    DECsystem 500/240 64Mb + Presto
  15.         RZ58 + WREN VII + EXABYTE + CDROM
  16.  
  17. Software:    Ultrix 4.2A presto server enabled 
  18.         DECnet IV, 8 nfsd + 5 biod rwalld + audit
  19.         + prestoctl_svc no nfs locking.

  22. Problem:    I can happily mount /usr on to my workstation
  23.  
  24.         after a few NFS mount's and unmounts the following 
  25. results :-

  27. 2768 mark:arvak> mount -t nfs -r alsvid:/mnt $PWD/mnt
  28. nfs_mount: alsvid:/mnt server not responding: RPC: Timed out
  29. nfs_mount: cannot mount alsvid:/mnt: Connection timed out
  30. nfs_mount: retrying /usr/users/mark/mnt

  38.     Is there something I can look at to workout what's wrong?
  39. Is it a bug a feature or am I doing something wrong ?
