- This is also true. There is a version on the VAXen and another for the Alpha
- platforms.

- You are certainly going to be able to run your ID ROMs on the TURBOchannel
- based Alpha machines. We have NO intention of forcing module variations for
- each of the platform architectures. The hardware/firmware will run for any
- of the TURBOchannel option modules that comply to the specification. Now,
- the device drivers are a different story obviously. VMS device drivers will
- have to be written. OSF device drivers are being written. And both will have
- to undergo testing/modification against the Alpha TURBOchannel platforms.

- the existing TURBOchannel firmware.
