  14. Actually, Sun's use shared libraries. If you are willing to totally yank
  15. out the YP support in your shared librareies, several people have posted
  16. methods of replacing the YP code in the libc with bind. 
  17.  
  18. You still need a special passwd and login, but you will be much closer
  19. to something you could use.

  21. Note however, that the way that Ultrix uses Hesiod would require also
  22. getting Kerberos running and the libauth.a as well, but maybe DEC can
  23. help out on that front...
