  20. Boy, way back when you were in the middle of a flamefest over the 
  21. percieved benefit you would get by keeping all of the systems submitted
  22. for the Bake-Off, you got up on your almighty horse and said that you
  23. were doing this for the benefit of the net and that no vendor had to
  24. submit a system.

  26. Now we see that a good Dell system has gotten your mouth watering and 
  27. you can't accept the fact that they have decided they don't want to 
  28. contribute to the Help Eric S. Raymond Get A Computer Fest.

  30. I, for one, think that Dell is being smart.  If I had a system I would
  31. not submit it to this Bake-Off because it is what everyone thought it 
  32. would be - a way for you to get your hands on new equipment without 
  33. having to pay for it.

  35. No, I don't mean to start up another flame fest, and Yes, I think the
  36. FAQ about hardware does have some good information in it.  I just think
  37. there is too much personal gain in this Bake-Off and there is too much
  38. personal bias shown by what information has been included and not included
  39. in both.
