- Hello out there,
-
- I got a strange problem concerning the r-services even between two SCO
- machines.
- All worked well when I used static local host tables in my net.
- Now I established a Domain Name Server with all the SCO machines as
- clients. The name resolution works just fine; all ping, telnet etc. working.
-
- Weird thing is: ANY user having a password set under SCO now has to
- validate himself by giving his pw when he does rlogin
- etc.
- /etc/hosts.equiv and /usr/xyz/.rhosts are both set on the particular machines.
-
- This only applies to the SCO machines; there are other Unix-based clients in
- the net having the same configuration and r-services working correctly.
-
- Any idea???
