  14. I got a strange problem concerning the r-services even between two SCO
  15. machines.
  16. All worked well when I used static local host tables in my net.
  17. Now I established a Domain Name Server with all the SCO machines as
  18. clients. The name resolution works just fine; all ping, telnet etc. working.
  19.  
  20. Weird thing is: ANY user having a password set under SCO now has to 
  21.                 validate himself by giving his pw when he does rlogin
  22.                 etc.
  23. /etc/hosts.equiv and /usr/xyz/.rhosts are both set on the particular machines.
  24.  
  25. This only applies to the SCO machines; there are other Unix-based clients in
  26. the net having the same configuration and r-services working correctly.
