- Don't know what bugs were fixed, 'cause I upgraded from AT&T 5.3.
- I do know that in the ESIX 4.0.4 I have now, the time maintained by
- the operating system is always one hour ahead of the hardware clock.
- ESIX says they know about it, blames it on USL's code, and says it's
- pretty low priority. Got around it by (how clever) setting the hardware
- clock back one hour. Kind of unsatisfying, but it works.

- Have had no end of problems getting the *local* printer to work. If I
- set it up using the built in serial ports (tty00 in this case), I can't
- even get anything to go to the printer (used the menu-driven setup, also
- tried doing it with lpadmin as I used on V.3...no luck). If I use one
- of my add-on ports (Brumby with the older, 2.8s stream driver), I get
- a banner page to print, but nothing else. If I use a postscript interface
- supplied by ELAN Computing (for my troff package eroff), I get a reply
- from the printer that it's seen garbage and is flushing. The offending
- character is nearly always "$x" where X varies. All these things worked
- great with V.3. I've had ESIX 4.0.4 only a few days, so maybe there're
- tricks I haven't learned yet, both with this particular version and with
- V.4 in general. SO far I'm not impressed.
