- But I wanted more memory and the old Intel board with the 512KB base memory
- and the $1500 add-on board to give me a grand total of 2Mb seemed to be a bit
- passe. I bought a board (386/40 magitronics) that now advertises for $155 in
- Computer Reseller (Liuski), stuck some RAM and a 387/40 chip in there and I
- have an absolute screamer comparatively speaking. It's basically my news/mail
- machine but what a difference for so little dollars. Obviously none of the
- above made by Intel but that's life in a competitive world.
