- They did. The man pages are there. The SLIP code isn't very good, but it
- is there, complete with instructions. Installing the Intel-derived
- freeware SLIP is an improvement. I suspect that the ESIX code would be
- good enough for a simple point-to-point setup if the connection was
- stable. (I've been beta-testing Marc Boucher's PPP driver (marc@cam.org);
- it's 99 and 44/100% solid at the moment--I hope it gets released soon.
- So I've not played much with SLIP.)

- Perhaps Mr. DiVecchio neglected to load the appropriate packages when
- he installed 4.0.3A. (No, I don't know what the "A" is for, or if
- there even was a 4.0.3 without the "A".)
