  24. Hey, come on now, people.  I've had a few interactions with Dell
  25. support and I've received nothing but prompt, knowledgeable, and
  26. helpful responses.  And I don't even own any Dell products (yet).

  28. Frankly, I can understand Donn's problem with this guy.  I think a
  29. rather obvious attempt to blackmail a vendor with bad net.publicity
  30. was met with, if perhaps a bit too much strength, an appropriate
  31. response.  Having had to deal with the occasional demanding (l)user, I
  32. can understand exactly the kind of frustration that regular support
  33. troops are left feeling when dealing with someone who wants things to
  34. work THEIR way, and no other answer is acceptable.
