- We purchased ESIX SVR4. It wouldn't install from a SCSI tape. After
- calling ESIX -- they informed us that we needed to download patches
- from their BBS. We asked for them to mail us the patches -- and they
- said they would need to charge it to our Fed Ex account. They mailed
- the patches and we couldn't get the tape to install. The tape ended
- up being defective. We called ESIX -- and they said a replacement tape
- would be send COD for shipping charges unless we again supplied a Fed
- Ex account number. Get real -- you spend $1000 for software and still
- have to supply the Fex Ex account number for shipping. What a crock
-
- They didn't even bother to include the "patches" with future shipments.
- One would think they would have patched the distribution master keeping
- it current before making the tapes since they didn't mass produce the
- tapes (according to ESIX)
