  22. away, but his postings to this group have been helpful in the main and have
  23. been one of the reasons why Dell has been the darling of this group recently.

  33. Again I think that this is a mistake.  I have been watching this from the
  34. sidelines (I bought ESIX before I even knew Dell made a Unix) and my 
  35. overall impression is still that Dell is a good company producing a good
  36. product.  A net.presence is good marketing tool and I would hope that most
  37. netters reading this group are perfectly aware that Donn's postings are not
  38. statements of official policy.

  40. The few who reacted to Donn's postings with "I will never buy Dell again
  41. after this" were over-reacting and I would imagine are very much in the
  42. minority; to judge a company on a single Usenet posting is going too far.

  44. Having an employee of Dell posting to this group shows attention to detail
  45. that other companies don't show.  Reading postings from Dell employees
  46. has sometimes made me wish I had bought Dell rather than ESIX.  You should
  47. not lose this advantage, don't stop posting.
