- I assume that the problem alluded to is the fact that in 2.1 the boot diskette
- for a new installation acquired a bug that wouldn't allow use of MFM or RLL
- drives. Once you got up--somehow--the runtime kernel handles them just fine.
- I assume that Bill must have upgraded instead of doing a new installation.

- Dell support assures me this is fixed in 2.2. My sales rep told me last week
- that 2.2 would be shipping "immediately, or almost immediately." I've a call in
- to him today to check on the current status.
