  17.  You've probably considered this, but for what its worth, have you tried 
  18. de-Gaussing this monitor or checking for any EMI from surrounding peripherals,
  19. etc.,?  I've installed a couple of these monitors without such a prob. Maybe
  20. you're grid was magnitized in shipping?
