- unreasonable - it has to bind to the socket, and may well have a deliberate
- policy of waiting to avoid people starting cc & then killing the licence
- server & starting a new one...

- Perhaps a more sensible approach would be to incorporate knowledge of the
- licences into make. Then it could pass a licence token to cc, and could
- even control a certain number of concurrent compilations.
