- The suggestion of using 3> isn't a bad one either (apart from
- compatability with old scripts). We could have a stdsugar that pointed
- to fd 3 if it was open otherwise to stdout. Then of course we could add
- a shell redirection of *> to catch all when we wanted that. Maybe thats
- something for plan 9 or hurd to thing of, SunOS only has 64 file
- descriptors.
