- I am looking to start learning UNIX, and require some advise.
-
- I wish to install UNIX on my 486dx/33, but don't have the $1650 to buy
- SCO System V. I was however looking at a package call COHERENT. As the
- only infomation found about it, is located in a GLOSSY AD in Byte, I was
- hoping that a current owner could give me some feedback as to its usefullness
-
- I hear that there is a SHAREWARE/PD version of UNIX is available called
- LINUX (sp?). Does this allow for more than one user at a time? or
- multiple? Can one set it up for dial-in sessions, and use it locally at
- the same time?
-
- Thanks much, eh!
