- AMD is of course a very powerful automounter. But configure "amd"
- isn't intuitive .....
- I understood how I can auto-mount our home directories. But how
- can I simulate /etc/fstab entries like the following one:
-
- ipf1:/usr13 /usr13 nfs bg,rw,hard,intr 0 0
-
- NOTE: I want to mount the remote volume /usr13 at remote host "ipf1"
- in the ROOT directory of the local host (say "ipfp").
- Of course I have success in mounting the remote volume in a
- subdirectory of "/" (f.e.. /amd) on the local host and I can access
- the remote volume with the logical path "/amd/usr13". But I never
- succeeded in mounting directly under "/". And we need this !!!
-
- Can anybody help me. Please post your answer directly to me.
- Thank you very much !!!
