  9. Well, the subject line pretty much says it all.  I'm new to un*x
  10. and I'd like to find out where to go learn more about it (besides my local
  11. university).  There seems to be a zillion books on the subject at my local 
  12. bookstores, but I figure the collective net.wisdom could direct me to the 
  13. best two or three.

  15. If there's a FAQ available somewhere that I could obtain via anonymous ftp,
  16. I'd just be delighted.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.
