- You are correct in your assessment of Archie. There are four servers
- running in the U.S. (archie.ans.net, archie.sura.net, archie.unl.edu
- and archie.rutgers.edu), and many others worldwide. They can be
- accessed via remote login, e-mail and the Prospero protocol. For more
- information, check out ftp.ans.net:/pub/archie/doc (147.225.1.2). These
- documents should be available at the other sites as well.
