  10. Will file locking work properly on an NFS disk mounted on multiple
  11. hosts?  I want to lock a file in the user's home directory so that
  12. other active sessions cannot touch the file (yes, the other sessions
  13. are checking the lock too).  However, other sessions could be on
  14. any one of a number of machines, included Suns and a CDC4680.  Will
  15. "flock"ing still work?
