  12. Hello,
  13. I've been running 386BSD here for about a week.  Here is the system I'm running it on (Note: this system has ran everything I've given it)..

  15.                  386SX-16 (Beaver Tech out of CA)
  16.                  6 megs (70ns)
  17.                  Oak VGA 512K
  18.                  Clone IDE & floppy controller
  19.                  WD Caviaur(sic) 80MB HD
  20.                  1.2 & 1.44 FD
  21.                  Clone Multi-IO card
  22. Dos has 16 Megs and BSD has 65.  No problems with the install but later the com
  23. port kept reporting silo overflows so I got one of the patches for the com problems and just patched the kernel.

  25. Now for my question...
  26. Has anyone written anything like a guide to whats what in the kernel?  What
  27. I mean is if I want to find out where to go modify the file system where would
  28. I look?  (Yes I know, I go file by file and look but....)

  30. BTW: to my last question (Emacs type editor), Jove works fine when compiled as
  31. for a 4.3BSD system, You just have to define stty and gtty (Someone posted it
