- No worries there. AT&T had (til they gave it to USL) a rather bad case of NIH.
- I wrote a PD-ish "cron" replacement in 1986 and though I tried very hard to get
- AT&T to take it and blow away the ridiculous one they still ship in their
- latest SysV releases, they politely declined.

- So did every other vendor I offered it to, because they already had the SYSV
- one and they didn't want to become incompatible with it. (A pox on NIH!)
