- Time has come for me to buy a tape drive, and I want it to be something
- 386BSD can deal with, and something I can afford. INSTALL.NOTES gives
- two options: QIC-02 or SCSI. I can't find a SCSI tape drive at a
- reasonable price (where reasonable would be within a factor of two of
- those Colorado Mountain System guys, 120 Meg for $250), so I guess that
- leaves QIC-02. There was a note on this group recently telling somebody
- that his tape didn't work because he had the wrong kind of QIC-02, but
- after looking through the installation docs and the new FAQ list I can't
- find any mention of which QIC-02 devices are ok, or indeed any hint that
- some are not. Can someone point me toward a list of 386BSD compatible
- tape devices, so I'll know that what I'm buying will work?
