  11. I Need Help with 386BSD-0.1 install

  13. When I try to boot TinyBSD it senses the following:

  15. "    pc0<color> at 0x60 irq 1 on isa
  16.     com1 at 0x3f8 irq 4 on isa
  17.     com2 at 0x2f8 irq 3 on isa
  18.     wd0<DTC6X80> at 0x1f0 irq 14 on isa
  19.     fd0 drives 0: 1.2M at 0x3f0 irq 6 drq 2 on isa
  20.     npx0 at 0xf0 irq 13 on isa "

  23. The first time I try to boot after power up I get as far as

  27. and a second later I get

  34. If I hit reset it goes through the above but further and comes up on the floppy.
  35. I can then do most things in TinyBSD but as soon as I run install it gives me
  36. almost the same messages as above (the differences are underlined):

  47. AST Premium/386C with 4 MB ram, cache disabled, shadow ram disabled, 387 co-
  48. processor.  (Premium 386 BIOS Ver 2.0)

  50. Oak Technology VGA board (VGA BIOS 067 V1.03) with 512 memory
  51.  
  52. DTC 6280 ESDI disk controller running a Maxtor 4380EXT hard drive (340MB)
  53.  
  54. Hope someone can help as I have been following the group for months waiting
  55. to get a shot at this (I just got the disk controller and drive)!
