- Please folks, articles numbers are LOCAL TO YOUR OWN MACHINE! They will
- be DIFFERENT on every one else's machines! So, quoting article numbers
- will be at best useless and at worse confusing to everyone else. If
- you have to refer to an article, please use the Message-ID in the header
- of the article that you are referring to, (e.g. Terry's article was
- <1992Jul23.213947.22807@gateway.novell.com>
- ) and your news sysadm should be able to help you work back from that to
- the article number as it is on your own machine.
