  13. I've recently installed 386BSD 0.1, and I've got a few problems/questions
  14. that I haven't seen anybody else mention in the (brief) time that I've
  15. been reading this group....

  17. 1) How do I talk to my printer ? A /dev/lp device was not created when
  18.    I installed the binary distribution. Is it just a simple matter of
  19.    doing a mknod ? If so, what are the relevant major and minor devices
  20.    numbers ?

  22. 2) Should Mtools work straight out of the box ? If for example I issue
  23.    mdir a:  it produces the message init: open: No such file or directory.
  24.    Most of the other mtools commands produce similar messages.

  26. 3) When I try and use ktrace, it just says Bad System call - core dumped.

  28. 4) How do I configure the system for UK local time ? I tried symlinking
  29.    /etc/localtime to /usr/share/zoneinfo/GB-Eire, but this puts the clock
  30.    about 8 hours ahead.

  32. Any help or (polite!) suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
