  12. I'm using the  patched wd dist.fs kernel, so this may be part of the
  13. problem...

  15. I successfully installed the bin01 set, and then tried to install the 
  16. etc01 set.  It ran for 10-20 minutes, and then a stream of errors 
  17. something like (from memory):

  19. extract:  etc01.xx : open:  too many open files
  20.  
  21. and I know that xx went at least as far back as 71.  Anyone know 
  22. what the problem is here?

  24. I did successfully get src01 to install.
