  13. I have a very similar setup, 486/33, AHA1542B, 2 SCSI drives and an Archive
  14. Viper SCSI tape drive.  The disks are at 0 & 1, the tape drive was at 4.  No
  15. amount of coaxing convinced the tape drive to work.  I then changed its SCSI
  16. address to 2, as implied in the install file (they mention dumping from tape
  17. via /dev/ras2a) and it worked immediately.  Perhaps the SCSI driver requires
  18. consequative addresses?

  20. By the way, accessing /dev/as1a does attach the second drive for me as well,
  21. but I haven't got it working yet...
