  12. I DL'ed rawrite and the dist.fs and fixit.fs to my PC at home.  I
  13. then put both images on their respective 1.2 meg floppies and booted
  14. my system.
  15.  
  16. It read the tiny disk for about 5-10 seconds and rebooted my machine.
  17. For the record I have a pretty generic 386 box ( except for the
  18. drive controller).
  19.  
  20.          AMI BIOS (circa 1990).
  21.          AMI 386/20 motherboard, 4 meg RAM, 64k cache
  22.          Orchid ProDesigner Plus VGA
  23.          Perstor ARRL controller (gives you about 1.9 x MFM)
  24.          Miniscribe 80meg (ARRL gives you about 150meg)
  25.          No 387

  27. I've tried disabling video shadow ram to no avail.

  30. Has anyone seen this problem?
  31. BTW: After rawrite had written the entire fs to disk (apparently
  32. without error) I got a "couldnt find address mark" error.  Is
  33. this a standard message that rawrite burps out?

  35. I've crashed and I can't get up....
