- I've been trying to build a Tiny 386BSD floppy from 386BSD 0.1 to use to
- qualify a PC to buy.
-
- I've ftp'd the executable rawrite and various dist.fs files, Kermit'd them
- to a Gateway 2000 386, and I run rawrite there.
-
- If I write a 3.5" floppy, rawrite gives no complaints, but then I dont have
- a PC around that I can boot off the 3.5 drive.
-
- If I write dist.fs to a 5.25" floppy (1.2M floppy), it gets to head 80
- and stops with the message "address mark not found".
-
- The floppy will not boot on any of serveral different 386's I've tried
- around here.
-
- Thanks for your help.
