- I think I had the same problem. In my case, the problem went away by
- changing BIOS setup so that shadowing was disabled. For example, my
- machine has AMI BIOS. I disabled all shadowing in the ADVANCED CMOS
- SETUP (I havn't tried any combination of the shadowing).
